This privacy policy explains what personal information KingpinWeb.codes ("we", "us", "our") collects when you visit kingpinweb.codes or contact us, why we collect it, how we look after it, and the choices and rights you have. KingpinWeb.codes is a website design and development studio based in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India, led by its co-founders Issac M. Paul and Balaji Ragupathi.
We keep this simple: we only collect what we need to reply to you and to deliver your project, we never sell your information, and we do not use advertising trackers on this website.
1. Information we collect
Information you give us
- Quote and contact forms: your name, email address, WhatsApp or phone number, the type of project, your budget range and your message.
- Newsletter: your email address, if you choose to subscribe.
- Project work: if you become a client, the information you share with us to build your website, such as your business details, text, images, logins you choose to give us and feedback.
- Payments: if you pay us online, your payment is handled by our payment provider (such as Razorpay). We receive confirmation of the payment, but we never see or store your full card or bank details.
Information collected automatically
- Approximate country: when you send an enquiry, we record your approximate country from your internet connection, so we can show prices in the right currency and reply at a sensible time. We do not track your precise location.
- Technical logs: like almost every website, our server keeps short-term logs (such as IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time) to keep the site secure and working.
- Browser storage: a small game on our About page saves your best score in your own browser. It never leaves your device.
2. How we use your information
- To reply to your enquiry and send you a quote or proposal.
- To plan, build, deliver and support your website if you become a client.
- To send invoices, receive payments and keep the business records the law requires.
- To send our newsletter, only if you subscribed. Every email has a way to unsubscribe.
- To keep our website safe, fix problems and improve it.
We rely on your consent (for example, when you submit a form or subscribe), on the need to perform a contract with you, and on our legal obligations. You can withdraw your consent at any time.
3. Cookies and tracking
This website does not use advertising or analytics cookies. The only cookies we set are the login cookies used by our own team in the private admin area. If we ever add analytics or similar tools, we will update this policy first and, where required, ask for your consent.
4. Who we share information with
We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information. We only share it with trusted service providers who help us run our business, and only as much as they need:
- Hosting: our website and its database run on cloud servers managed by our hosting providers.
- Payments: our payment provider processes online payments.
- Communication: if you choose to message us on WhatsApp or by email, those messages pass through those services.
- Website fonts: our web fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which means your browser connects to Google's servers.
We may also share information if the law requires it, or to protect our rights, our clients or the public.
5. International visitors
We work with clients in India and around the world. Your information is stored and processed on servers that may be outside your country. We take reasonable steps to protect it wherever it is processed.
6. How long we keep your information
We keep enquiries for as long as needed to respond and to follow up on a possible project, and client information for as long as we work together and provide support. Invoices and accounting records are kept for the period required by Indian law. After that, we delete or anonymise your information.
7. How we protect your information
We use secure HTTPS connections across the website, protected and access-controlled servers, and strong passwords for our admin area. Only our team members who need your information can see it. No method of storing or sending data is completely secure, but we work hard to protect yours.
